At NI Care Foundation, we believe that every child deserves equal access to quality education, regardless of their circumstances. In line with our mission to empower young minds, we undertook a significant project to support education in underserved communities in the Upper East Region of Ghana.
On October 9, 2024, our team visited 18 schools in the Kandiga area of the Kassena-Nankana West District to distribute essential educational resources. This initiative saw the donation of:
- 1,500 exercise books
- 500 pens
- 200 pencils
These resources were provided to enhance the learning experience for over 500 students across the schools.
Project Goals
- To address the scarcity of basic learning materials in the region.
- To create a more conducive learning environment for students.
- To inspire confidence and motivation among students, teachers, and school administrators.
Impact
This intervention directly benefits hundreds of students who now have access to much-needed learning tools. The donation bridges a critical resource gap, ensuring that these young learners can focus on their education without worrying about a lack of supplies.
“We believe every child deserves equal access to education,” said Nsoh Innocent, Founder of NI Care Foundation. “These materials will help bridge the resource gap, fostering a conducive learning environment for students to thrive.”
The Foundation is deeply touched by the heartfelt appreciation shown by the students and staff of the beneficiary schools. As Dr. Atogembasia Aaron, the Manager of the Foundation, stated, “This generous support will greatly alleviate the scarcity of educational materials, allowing our students to focus on their studies.”
Future Focus
This project is part of NI Care Foundation’s broader commitment to enhancing education, healthcare, and community development in Ghana. We are dedicated to creating opportunities for young minds to excel and welcome partnerships with individuals and organizations that share our vision for a brighter future.
Together, we can transform lives, one project at a time.
